The name says it all – the new GLOBE Kit from GORE RUNNING WEAR™ for autumn/winter 2009/10 equips you to face any challenges your travels may throw at you, whatever the climate zone or season.

The GLOBE Kit can be used everywhere and will never let you down. It also sets new standards in versatility: the practical pouch easily holds the short-sleeved or long-sleeved twin shirt, the ZIP-OFF trousers, reversible beanie and jacket. Although ideally used in combination, each individual product meets the most demanding requirements in terms of functionality and appearance.

GLOBE SO Reversible Jacket
This is the first-ever reversible GORE RUNNING WEAR™ jacket for running sports. One side has fluorescent yellow sections and numerous reflective prints – perfect for running in the evening or when it’s already dark. Turn the jacket inside out, and you have a discreet grey and black jacket that won’t make you stand out too much if you prefer to pound the pavement during the day.
The GLOBE SO Reversible Jacket is also highly functional: the WINDSTOPPER® Soft Shell is not only comfortably soft, but also extremely breathable, windproof and waterproof. With its zip-off sleeves, it is the ideal jacket to wear across a wide range of temperatures, in light rain or on dry, sunny days.

GLOBE Twin Shirt
The GLOBE Twin Shirt is available in both short-sleeved and long-sleeved designs – ideal for warmer and moderate temperatures or, when used in combination, for colder days. Both shirts have a slim fit and are perfect for wearing under the GLOBE SO Jacket. A number of mesh inserts provide optimum ventilation, ensuring that excess heat and moisture are quickly wicked away from the body. Reflective prints provide the necessary safety when the shirts are worn without a jacket.

GLOBE ZIP-OFF Pants
Surely no other trousers could be as practical as these. On warm days, or when you are doing more intensive exercise bursts, the legs can be zipped off above the knee. To prevent chafing and irritation the zips are covered and positioned in such a way that they can’t be felt when running. A number of pockets provide storage for items such as hotel key cards and energy bars. Reflective prints maximise safety when running in the dark while flat and shifted seams prevent chafing and pressure points, thus ensuring comfort.

GLOBE Reversible Beanie
The outfit is completed with the GLOBE Reversible Beanie. A tremendous amount of body heat can be lost from the head area but this can be prevented with the WINDSTOPPER® Soft Shell material which is wind and waterprooof and highly breathable. Large reflective prints ensure optimum visibility when you’re running in the dark.
